Here are some recent photos of my nephew Isaac and niece Jocelyn. They are amazing, adorable, and getting so big! It's not fun living so far away from them. I sure do miss them!

I love the 3D glasses on them. Isaac was anxiously waiting for Hanna Montana's concert on TV.

MudFest 2008

A few weeks ago, Jayson's squadron went down to a beach in Korea for their annual Mudfest event. Apparently, they all had a great time.

It's Official...

Jayson has been asked to teach at the weapons school he graduated from last December so... the Rickard family is headed back to Las Vegas for our next assignment. I believe our report date is sometime early next year (Jan/Feb). I'm not thrilled with living back there, but Magnum and I are excited to be reunited with Jayson again!!

Happy 4th of July!

Last night my parents, myself, and their neighbors went to Mt. Rushmore to watch the fireworks. It was the most amazing show I have ever seen. There were over 25,000 people there.

We were fortunate enough to have a VIP pass to park up close, but others weren't so fortunate and had to walk 3 miles or more to get there. Even though we were in the VIP parking lot they parked the cars in like sardines. They left no room for breathing. There is a picture below to show how the cars were.

This is one thing I can't wait to bring Jayson and our new little one to next year!

South Dakota

The other evening my mom and I were getting dinner ready when we saw this guy in the backyard! When I first saw him he was right at the backdoor, but by the time I got my camera and turned it on he was about 100 yards away. He was absolutely beautiful!

Happy Birthday to us!

Last Wednesday we celebrated Gary's 50th and my 27th birthday. Gary got to enjoy his day golfing and meeting family up for dinner while I got to enjoy my birthday two days later in a car with both my parents and 3 dogs. Yep! It was interesting to say the least. I started the day off with morning sickness. Yes... I am 14 weeks and still getting sick. HELP!!

I don't recommend driving for two days all the way to South Dakota if you not only have to stop to go to the bathroom, but also stop to get sick. What a road trip this was. ugh!
