Interview with a two year old.
I got this idea from a friends blog, so I stole it (thanks Lindsey).

Interview with Gwen:

1. How old are you? "I'm two." She shows me with two fingers.

2. What's your favorite color? "purple"

3. What did you eat for breakfast? "pancakes?" Interesting she had yogurt and waffles

4. Who do you like to play with? "friends"

5. What is your favorite animal? "giraffe"

6. What is your favorite place to go? "tarzan park" not sure what the tarzan park is, but okay

7. What is your favorite song? "abc's"

8. What is your favorite book? "purple book" Not sure what she's referring to

9. What do you like to drink? "chocolate milk, oh and pb&j's"

10. When is your birthday? "candles" We need to work on this one

11. What do you want to be when you grow up? "sick" hmmmmm

Okay, we need to work on a few of those answers, but this was fun to see what she'd say.

Goodbye Active Duty... Hello Guard

At the end of every assignment there is a farewell for those pilots leaving the squadron. This farewell was unique in the sense that both pilots (Jayson and Mark) are getting out of the Active Duty and going to the Air National Guard.
It was a great night to come together as a squadron and say goodbye. The best part of the night was when Mark and Jayson realized they were wearing the same exact shirt. Jayson was not thrilled. They both had similar khaki shorts and flip flops as well. It just showed that their wives do most of their clothes shopping for them. (and that we have good taste! Ha)

This past Sunday, we took Gwen ice skating for the first time. SHE LOVED IT!!!! We started her out with the little red walker but after one time around she enjoyed just holding onto daddy's hands instead. I wasn't able to enjoy skating with them, but she made sure after every round they stopped to say hi and tell me how much fun they were having. It was too cute. We might have a future figure skater (maybe olympian?ha I can dream!). Iowa better have a place for skating lessons!

Baby Shower

Last weekend good friends of mine hosted a baby shower for the new little one. They did an amazing job! It was a library themed shower, so along with fun girlie gifts for the new little one everyone brought one of their favorite children's books for the baby. Gwen has loved all of them so far! I'm sure going to miss these girls!

Mirage Dolphin Exhibit

Trying to catch up....

A couple months ago we met some good friends and their little girl at the Mirage to tour the Dolphin and Lion exhibit. Gwen and Sierra are about 5 months apart and have grown up together while living here in Vegas. As we were walking into the exhibit we caught them holding hands. It was the cutest thing ever!

If you look closely there is a baby dolphin swimming along side his mama. Apparently he was only a week old.

Sioux Falls Butterfly House

After our yucky week of house hunting we met back up with my parents and Gwen in Sioux Falls, SD and did some sight seeing. We also had the opportunity to stop at the butterfly house. I think that came in as a close second of highlights to Gwens trip. Her first was when she was hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa in Rapid City and got to ride a pony 3 different times. She still talks about the black pony to this day. That is going to be one expensive hobby when she gets older.

Our new home

Well we did! We took the plunge and bought yet another home. This time we will be living in it for more than a couple of years. Say.... 10 years!
