Lets go feed some ducks!

This afternoon turned out to be a really great to go outside and get some much needed fresh air and sunshine. So, we loaded Magnum and Gwen up into the car and drove down to the Dinosaur park to feed some ducks. This was our first attempt with Gwen. It was not successful. Instead of throwing the bread pieces to the ducks she would eat them instead. Luckily the bread was still good bread. Whew! After we finished feeding the ducks and Gwen we took a walk around to work on our new found skill... walking. She loved it! Magnum was not a fan of walking so slowly though. We need to work on patience with him now. Oh the life of parenting a dog and child!!

the quick escape

Yesterday Jayson and I noticed Gwen trying to make a quick escape through Magnum's doggy door. She figures if she throws her snack cup out the doggy door that she is allowed to go through it as well and get it. Ha caught in action! Not only does she like the doggy door, but she also has a liking to a couple of his doggy toys too. The green and yellow toy bones have been making their way around with Gwen. Who needs kids toys when you have doggy toys??

Gymboree Time!

I signed Gwen up for Mommy and Me Gymboree on base and she loves it. So many things to climb on, slide down, and just have a lot of fun. The last two weeks the lesson has been on bouncing and tossing different things... balls, scarfs, bean bags, and so much more. Next week we are starting a new lesson. Can't wait to see what that's going to be! The first picture is of Gwen and her buddy Haden. He started Gymboree with us too and loves it. I think we might have something going on between those two. They are too cute together!

A polka dot party...

Gwen's birthday party with her friends in the squadron was a big hit. Everything was polka dots. From the decorations, to the cupcakes, all the way down to cute Miss Gwen's dress.

Gwen was definitely not in the mood take any pictures, but we still tried to get some cute one year old pics.

Bath Time is sooo much fun!

Gwen is loving bath time now. Especially when there are bubbles and lots of toys.

Our Little Football Fan

Gwen was dressed and ready to cheer on mommy's alumni. Go Broncos Go! And because she cheered and wore her BSU t-shirt. They won the Fiesta Bowl.

Snow!! In Vegas??? No???

We decided to take a quick trip to Mt. Charleston to see some snow and maybe go sledding if Gwen liked it. Well.... she loved it! Here are some snow shots from today. Too much fun!
