Baby Goose Story Time

Every Thursday I go to our local library for story time with Gwen. She absolutely loves it! Last Thursday and this Thursday were special because Jayson got to go with us. This specific library sings lots of songs and poems and then reads a short story at the end of the session. It's great! Gwen just loves the music. She laughs, dances, jumps, and claps her hands. I just love seeing her personality come out.
As you can see in some of these pictures Gwen wasn't feeling too well. Last night we had our first episode of throwing up in our bed. Poor thing... you can still see it on her face that she's not feeling well.

The Air Force Family is so small...

Now that Jayson has been in the Air Force for more than 8 years we have come to realize how small the Air Force community really is. From moving 5 times in that span of time we have met new people and made friends for a lifetime.
Even though I did not personally know this particular AF family several of my friends do.
All I ask is that you pray for this family.
Brady Sullivan and his family have gone through one heck of a year. His wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in Jan. of this year and shortly before that, they found out they were expecting. While pregnant Sara went through chemo treatments. She gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl Chloe Grace on Sept. 8th. Unfortunately, Sara went to be with the Lord yesterday.

it's time...

to put the crib mattress down. The past couple of times Jayson and I have gone to get Gwen she has been sitting up and/or pulling herself up.
I got a cute picture of her in her crib when she was suppose to be taking a nap. Notice the new trick... yes she has discovered that her finger fits perfectly up her nose!

Gwen absolutely loves her Magnum. Every time she sees him she goes crazy kicking, waving her hands, and saying who knows what to him. It's too cute.

This morning I got some cute pictures of the two of them playing with each other. Magnum was itching his back against the carpet on one and the look on Gwen's face is priceless. It's like she saying, "what are you doing weirdo!"

I just love that Magnum is so good with her. Every night before he goes to bed he goes into her room to check on her. While she's playing on the floor he is always right there. Jayson has even caught them "sharing" cherrios together. (Not good for Magnum's allergies, but how do you explain that to a 9 month old)

Now that Gwen wants to be a bit more mobile I decided to go and get a walker for her. This way I can still confine her a bit but explore more at the same time. Brillant right? Slight problem... she goes backwards! Now that she crawls and uses the walker in the wrong direction I wonder if she's going to walk backwards? ha ha

I can't believe our little girl will be 9 months old next week! She has changed so much this past month.

She has become very mobile lately. She is crawling a little bit, but goes backwards instead of forwards. Today she was doing a bit better.

Can pull herself up onto pretty much anything and stand there for quite some time.

She can hold her bottle on her own.

I really think she's said her first word 'mum ma' but Jayson says its not.

Has a little attitude you wouldn't believe if she doesn't get her way.

Does not like being told 'no touch'!

Absolutely loves Magnum!

She has 4 teeth now and looks like she is working on 2 more.

Eating has been quite a treat. She pretty much eats anything I give her. She loves cheese, yo-baby yogurt, bananas, turkey lunch meat, ritz crackers, mulit-grain cherrios, and absolutely loves graduate puffs!

Venice, Italy

The day before we left Italy we took a day trip to Venice. I am still amazed at how people get around there. I am surpised that there aren't more boat accidents on the canal. Those boat drivers are crazy! We did go and visit St. Mark's Square. For being a Monday when we went it was still very busy. I could't believe the amount of people there. Note to self go back when it's off season and there are not as many tourists!

Lake Garda

The last weekend we were in Italy Jayson's grandparents flew out from London to come and visit us. They got to meet Gwen for the first time. Lake Garda is about 2 hours west of Venice. It is absolutely beautiful! We stayed in a little tourist town called Sirmione. It was right on the water and near a very old castle. We had a great time roaming through the shops, eating till our hearts were content, and just enjoying one anothers company.
