Air Show Photos

This weekend the base had its annual air show. Since Jayson had to work, Gwen and I came to help. Okay, we really enjoyed ourselves meeting up with some now new friends of friends and had a great time. Gwen wore her flight suit all day and looked too cute! I had to put a headband on her so people wouldn't mistake her for a boy, but that didn't seem to help one man! Oh well, some people just need to get their prescriptions renewed on their glasses! Ha
The highlight of the day was going up into the tower to watch some of the air show. During the F-18 demo I saw my life flash before my eyes. Yes, the F-18 came right towards the tower just like in the movie Top Gun, but I would say closer. I actually saw the pilot correct himself to avoid hitting the tower. THAT'S HOW CLOSE IT WAS!
I would have to say that was the best seat in the house and the overall best experience ever at an air show.
