Ok I know I am way behind!! After our ultrasound to see baby #2 we headed to Ca for some much needed time away from Vegas. It was so wonderful to see family and friends and let Gwen catch up with some old buddies (ok Jayson and I too!)
Monday night we stayed the night in Hesperia and had a great visit with Jayson's grandparents. Tuesday we were off to my parents house to drop Gwen off and have a date night with a long time friend and her hubby. It was so great to have adult conversation without a child climbing all over you or throwing herself down (because that's what we do as a 2 yr old now).
Wednesday we met up with another friend and her daughter along with Aimee and Lyric for lunch and duck feeding time in Temecula. That evening we headed for an antique shop where my mom had purchased a large piece and needed Jayson's help with it. Yes, I didn't get out of there without buying something... and it was only 5 feet from the door. I'm just like my mother! ha. Then we all met my little sister Erika for dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was great seeing and talking with her. I don't get to do that much.
On Thursday we hung out at my parents for the day to allow Gwen to get a much needed nap before our upcoming very busy weekend! That evening Jayson and I got spoiled again and left Gwen with my parents to go and have dinner in Morena Valley (Jayson's neck of the woods) with some friends.
On Friday my grandma, parents, Aimee and her family, and my girlfriend Alison and her two boys all went down to Sea World for the day. I would have to say this was the best age to take Gwen. She still talks about all the fish and dolphins she saw that day. It made my heart so happy to see her sooo excited. Not once did she have a meltdown ( and she had no nap!)
Look Daddy Dolphins!!!

On Saturday we had another fun filled day with the family, but it was at the Wild Animal Park this time. Gwen just loves animals. While riding the tram I think everyone knew what animal Gwen is in love with. She wanted everyone to know that there were giraffes there. It was too cute!

On Sunday, we took a quick trip down to Del Mar to let my parents lab and Magnum enjoy some much needed exercise and social time at the dog beach. After Gwen's nap we were off on our long journey back to good ole Vegas. It was a packed week but much needed family and friends time for all of us.
