Last Saturday, April 21st Jayson arrived home along with 300 other Iowa Air National Guardsmen and women. And like military standard they were delayed a lot that day. He was originally suppose to be home around 7pm, but ended up getting home around 11pm. By the time he got off the airplane, went through the in process line, finally was able to say hello to us, and then retrieved his bags, it was 1:30am. Both girls did amazingly well. Gwen was so excited that daddy was home I was a bit nervous she might not go to sleep that night. As for Addison, I have no clue why she stayed awake the entire time, but she did. And with our luck she decided to wake us up at 6:30 am. So needless to say, the next day was a day of naps!
The awesome sign I had made for Jayson

So excited to finally be leaving the house (10pm) to go get daddy
The girls waiting patiently for the doors of the hanger to open and see daddy's big airplane he rode home on
Addison loved the flags. They must have tasted good.
Everyone waiting in the hanger for their loved ones to arrive home
Picture taking time
Addison looks more than thrilled to be doing this

One happy daddy and two happy girls
