Busan Continued

Day 3:
The Busan Aquarium was right next to our hotel, so we decided to go and check it out. It was pretty nice. We even sat through some of their explanations. I know sounds funny... we had no idea what they were even talking about. Jayson and I narrated the speaking part ourselves.

After the aquarium I had to use the bathroom really bad so we found the nearest bathroom. Here's a picture of the toliet... a squatty-potty!

No, I didn't use it! Gwen just had to be told to move and not sit on my bladder until I found a decent westernized bathroom to use.

That afternoon, Jayson wanted to go to the UN Memorial Cemetery for the Korean War. This was a beautiful cemetery. There were many Americans that were killed in this war, but only 36 of them are actually buried there.

To end the perfect weekend, Jayson had reservations for dinner at a restaurant in our hotel. He thought it would be nice to celebrate our anniversary early since we would have to spend it apart this year. So, we get all dressed up (like we had money) and headed down to the restaruarnt. The food was fantastic and the view was amazing. It looked over Haeundae beach. What a great end to a wonderful weekend with my husband! Thank you very much for everything... I love you!

So... here's a funny story that relates to your squatty potty. One of our teachers last year PCSed to Kadena. On her blog she described when her daughter had gone into a restuarant bathroom and came out and described the "funny potty" that she had encountered. Your squatty potty reminded me of that! :)
